Undergarments and Outfits -- How do They Relate?

Many would say that I am bias because I think having curves is like the best thing ever – but if those curves are not supported with the right undergarments or the right outfit for your shape, your curves will look like pot holes!


For example, have you ever worn a tight jumpsuit and wondered why you didn't look like the model who donned it first? Or a halter top and your breasts looked like they needed a pick me up? Well, your problem may not have been the outfit, but the undergarments you were wearing underneath the fit. You feel me?


Okay, since we’re on the same page, here are a few fabulous outfits and the correct undergarment that should be worn underneath the fit.

Top Five Stores for Trendy Plus Size Clothing

1. Asos

Asos is a leading U.K. based online fashion retailer with many trendy clothes for diva's and divo's of all sizes, but their collection of plus size clothes, which they've donned "curve" takes the cake. 

2. Monif C

Monif C is a leading plus-size fashion retailer offering trendy, yet contemporary clothing. Most of their items are body conscience and they are a bit on the expensive side, but the material, wear time and the fit is all high end, which makes up for the price.

3. Forever 21 Plus Size

Although we may not be 21 forever -- forever 21's plus size line will always have you looking like you are. The popular clothing store has now expanded their wardrobe to offer plus sizes. However, plus size clothing are only available online as of now.

4. Torrid

Unlike all of the above retailers, Torrid has thousands of locations around the United States. If you're one of those girls that has to try on everything before you purchase it, Torrid may be your best option.

5. Fashion to Figure

Fashion to Figure is a popular online clothing store that sells amazing plus size clothing. Most of their items are affordable, yet the material is not always the best. All in all, this is one of my favorite retailers for trendy plus size clothing.

Shhhh, come close to the computer :) - Aside from these fabulously, trendy stores, I also use a few mass search retailers such as Become.com to find specific items. All it takes is a few keywords and you can pretty much find anything. Now, I don't only use Become.com for clothes -- but shoes, perfume and purses as well.  Whether you are looking for some polo perfume for your beau or a retro backpack for your son, you'll find it here. So that's my little bonus for you ladies.  For fun I just typed in "pulse shoes heels" and found a slew of trendy heels and running shoes.
